Harborne Primary School
Parents' Evening Information
Dear families,
Harborne Primary School Parents’ Evenings: 4:00 – 6:00pm, Tuesday 8th March or Thursday 10th March
I would like to invite you to attend our Parents’ Evening on Tuesday 8th March or Thursday 10th March. This is an important meeting with your child’s teacher and provides you with an opportunity to look at your child’s books and discuss how well they are progressing.
Parents are invited into school for these meetings. If, however, we are experiencing high numbers of positive cases in school at the beginning of March, we will not be postponing the date again. In this instance, we will be forced to conduct the evenings virtually and parents will be alerted to this by email. We very much hope that this will not be necessary, as we feel it is so important for parents to be able to come in and see their children’s work and have a face-to-face conversation with their child’s teacher. If we are able to go ahead face-to-face please feel free to arrive at school ten minutes before your allotted meeting with the teacher in order to look through your child's books.
Appointments can be booked using School Cloud, our online appointment booking system. This allows you to choose your own appointment times with teachers and you will receive an email confirming your appointments. If you experience difficulties in using the system, please email technicalsupport@harborne.bham.sch.uk and a member of our support team will be in touch.
The appointment booking system will be open from Thursday 17th February and will close at midnight on Sunday 6th March. Should you wish to make any changes after this date please contact your child's classteacher.
Please visit https://harborneprimary.schoolcloud.co.uk to book your appointments. (A short guide on how to add appointments is available on the website and is attached to this email. There is also a brief video explaining the process in the Latest News section of the school website).
Login with the following information: your title, first name and surname and the email address that the system should use to inform you of your appointments. Then,
- Student’s First Name
- Student’s Surname
- Student’s Class
These details need to match the data held centrally by the school.
Yours sincerely,
Duncan Wilson
Deputy Head
