There are times during the academic year when a family might want to request an authorised absence for their child from school.

These could include:

• music exams
• elite sporting events involving the child themselves
• religious festivals or significant celebrations involving close family members.

If you need to request exceptional leave, please collect a form from the office at Main Site.  Once you have completed your form, you may need to meet with our Attendance Lead if your request does not fit the criteria the school has to follow.

Please note that we cannot authorise absence from school for a family holiday.
