There are times during the academic year when a family might want to request an authorised absence for their child from school.

These could include:

• music exams
• elite sporting events involving the child themselves
• religious festivals or significant celebrations involving close family members.

The form below should be completed and returned to the Headteacher at least two weeks before the scheduled absence from school. 

Please note that we cannot authorise absence from school for a family holiday.
